Massachusetts firm seeks an associate to join our team of attorneys representing clients in construction law and business litigation. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience. Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Massachusetts and have significant experience with depositions, motion drafting, and preparing for arbitrations, mediations, and trials.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in construction disputes from initial claims through litigation
- Evaluate, manage, and monitor significant complex disputes and litigation
- Draft dispositive motions, manage e-discovery, and defend depositions
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in civil litigation, particularly in construction law
- Experience with bid protests, delay claims, and payment disputes is prefered
- Strong skills in writing, document drafting, research, analysis, and verbal communication
- Experience with e-discovery is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Exemplary client relations skills and attention to detail
