Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5pm
Key Responsibilities • Prepare and review complex individual, business, and fiduciary income tax returns, nonprofit tax returns, and gift tax returns. • Provide expert advice on tax matters to clients, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. • Collaborate with attorneys and other professionals to provide integrated and comprehensive legal and tax solutions. • Assist tax counsel with audits and amended tax returns in connection with active cases. • Stay updated on the latest tax laws and regulations; apply these changes effectively to benefit clients and the firm. • Manage multiple client engagements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in deliverables. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, MSA/MST is preferred; • Professional experience in tax preparation and planning role, with a strong focus on individual income tax, business tax, and trust returns, gift tax returns. • Demonstrated expertise in federal and state tax compliance. • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to explain complex tax concepts to clients and team members. • Proficiency in tax and trust administration software (OneSource, UltraTax) and Microsoft Office Suite.
