Key Responsibilities

Manage the full cycle of accounts payable, including invoice receipt, verification, coding, and payment processing, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
Utilize Blackbaud Financial Edge to process transactions, maintain vendor records, and generate accurate financial reports.
Supervise and reconcile accounts payable activities, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies and adherence to payment schedules.
Collaborate with departments to verify invoice accuracy, resolve payment issues, and support budgetary compliance.
Maintain strong vendor relationships, addressing inquiries and ensuring clear communication regarding payment processes.
Oversee the preparation of 1099 forms and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
Develop and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of accounts payable operations.
Provide training and guidance to staff on accounts payable procedures and Financial Edge functionality.
Support annual audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responding to auditor inquiries related to accounts payable.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the Finance team’s objectives.

Qualifications We’re Looking For

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in accounts payable or related financial operations.
Significant experience with Blackbaud Financial Edge is required.
Higher education experience is preferred but not required.
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, payment reconciliation, and vendor management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications for data analysis and reporting.
Excellent organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
