CNC SUPERVISOR COMPENSATION: $35.00-$37.00 PER HOUR  Job Details: Our client is seeking a CNC Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the CNC machining team, ensuring production goals are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This role combines hands-on technical expertise in CNC machining with supervisory responsibilities, including managing team performance and facilitating communication between shifts. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of prior supervisory or leadership experience, with a strong understanding of CNC setup, operation, and troubleshooting. Responsibilities: Supervise the CNC machining team, ensuring they meet production targets, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machines, including Okuma and Haas lathes, mills, and routers. Manage workflow across shifts, ensuring smooth handoffs between first and second shifts to minimize downtime. Hold team members accountable for performance, quality, safety, and organizational standards. Provide guidance and support to team members, offering training and problem-solving as needed. Approve timecards in the HR system, ensuring accuracy of hours worked and compliance with company policies. Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to improve processes, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement improvements. Maintain accurate production records and track team performance. Ensure team compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality control procedures. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining referred. 1-2 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a CNC machining environment. 3+ years of experience in CNC machining (Okuma and Haas preferred), including setup, operation, and troubleshooting. Strong understanding of blueprint reading, CNC programming (G-code), and CAD/CAM software. Ability to effectively manage team performance and provide constructive feedback. Knowledge of safety procedures and practices in a manufacturing environment. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage handoffs between shifts and ensure continuity in production. Familiarity with timecard approval processes and HR systems. Ability to stand, walk, and move around the production floor. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Ability to work in a dynamic, sometimes noisy, production environment while adhering to safety protocols.
