Schedule: Throughout July and possibly into early August
Thursdays and Fridays only, 8:00AM – 4:30PM
Requirements:
- 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience in primary care/family/internal medicine
- Completion of Medical Assistant program
- BLS / CPR Certification
- Experience with eClinicalWorks is highly preferred but not required
Responsibilities:
- Check-in and room patients
- Record patient and medical histories
- Prepare patients for examinations
- Measure and document vital signs
- Collect and prepare lab specimens
- Prepare equipment and examination rooms
- Administer injections as directed by providers
- Assist provider with medical treatments, procedures, exams
- Provide administrative / front desk support as needed
